As I do more research it seems that everyone on Brown Edge are related! 
I have got stuck on the Mountfords (the parents of Alice Mountford)and have had to 
remove the links that I thought I had for both of Alices parents as the 1851 and 1841 
census have become available since I did the original work and a revisit has shown 
some discrepencies. We know for sure that they were named Hannah Mountford and Samuel 
Mountford and they were married in Bucknall Church on April 9th 1850 but their ages 
dont match to the census records or to their headstone in Bagnall Churchyard.
In the 1851 census they are living apart and their new baby was being wet nursed by 
the Brownsill family of Brown Edge.  So more searching!
